Texas Tech College Health and fitness Sciences Middle El Paso officially opened its new dental oral well being clinic at a ribbon-slicing ceremony Tuesday early morning.

The clinic will provide a new stage of educational options for dental wellness learners at the college. The clinic also will let students provide dental care companies beneath the supervision of college medical practitioners, a spokesperson explained.

The 38,000-square-foot clinic features 145 chairs, working stations, college and personnel workplaces and support spaces, a general public lobby, and a ready area.

It will be the clinical arm of the Hunt University of Dental Medicine.

Students will teach in the school’s Dental Learning Heart, which capabilities 80 stations geared up with significant-tech simulation manikins and a fabrication laboratory for crafting dental appliances using 3D scanners and innovative CAD/CAM products.
